About us

In 2021, during the pandemic, many Filipinos lost their jobs, and we saw how uncertain everything had become. But in that struggle, we noticed something important—our weaving traditions and local craftsmanship were slowly fading.
That challenge pushed us to start Panlipi Tribe Manila. We also aimed to provide livelihood during that time, and what started as a small effort to help others eventually grew into something far beyond what we expected. We worked with Filipino weavers to make traditional patterns into modern straps and accessories used for guitars, bags, cameras, and travel gear—designed for everyday life.
We built it on the idea that our weaving heritage shouldn’t just survive—it should be felt, worn, and shared. Every strap carries the hands, time, and story of Filipino makers who kept going even in difficult times.
Today, Panlipi is worn across the Philippines, the USA, and Europe. And when you wear it, you are not just choosing a strap—you are carrying culture, livelihood, and hope.
